Sometimes I open the door to wary people; I must agree : choosing a bed and breakfast instead of a branded hotel is a little bit of an adventure. I sigh relieved when, minutes later, the guests are reassured. Though, it would be much better if you were coming here as to your own home. We loved your apartment as it has 2 bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen + bathroom & the ultimate plus point of your apartment is the good location. It's just mins away on foot from everything - tourist sights, shopping, eateries & metro. Even though all four of us have to climb up the spiralling stairway up to your apartment, we find it not being a hassle at all. I have no complains at all & everything is just perfect for us. We did washing with your washing machine + dryer, did cooking in your well-equipped + very neat kitchen & your bedrooms are warm in the winter with comfy beds. We also appreciate the fact that you provide nice towels for all of us. Not every apartment provide towels.
 
We also find the rental price affordable as your apartment seems to have literally everything & has such a good location with a superb view of St Jacques Tower.
 
Maybe you could fit in a TV as some people who would be staying for a longer period might find it boring at night. For us, we're not bothered at all with no TV coz ours was a short 3 night stay & we stayed out late too.

We choose the B&B in Rue Rivoli because it is located very central and we can only recommend it. The river Seine can be reached in just a few minutes and so it is very convenient for walks through the city.
The room is clean and cosy and our host gave us a warm welcome even it was quite late in the evening. He also gave us a lot of recommendations and made arrangements for dinner for us. Breakfast was served with a spectacular view on Tour St. Jacques. We had a wonderful weekend in Paris and if we come back, we will chose the same place again. If you are looking for a nice an central place to enjoy Paris - this is your choice.

My friends and I stayed at the flat close to Tour-Saint-Jacques for one week this past September. We arrived to Paris tired from a flight from Turkey and were welcomed by a spacious, clean and centrally located apartment. It is virtually impossible to find another apartment of this size, quality and location for this value in Paris. I know, as I scoured Parisian rental sites for weeks prior to coming across this apartment, and luckily it was available at the time of our visit. The apartment comfortably slept four adults in two decent sized bedrooms, and overall the apartment has a spacious, airy feeling. We enjoyed the large living room with a view of Tour-Saint-Jacques and the Paris rooftops for having aperitifs prior to walking to one of the numerous nearby restaurants in the Marais. The location was prime, and we could walk to many tourist sites, museums, shops and restaurants in the area or hop on the metro that was right up the street to go anywhere in the city. We had a great time during our stay, and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay while they are in Paris. If you are a group, this is a fantastic value and a comfortable place to come "home" to after a long day of sightseeing in Paris.

My stay in August for 5 nights at your apartment was very relaxing and enjoyable. The location is very good, only a short walk from several underground rail stations and close to the streets of Le Marais where there are many great restaurants and places to eat and drink. Also, being so close to Notre Dame and the Louvre was excellent for sightseeing and I enjoyed walking along the streets near the river as well.
Your hospitality was second to none, with a relaxing fresh breakfast served every day and some nice ideas for me on where to go and what to see while in the beautiful city of paris. Your guest room was nice, with a comfortable bed, and a window that opened on to the street behind which was good for letting in some fresh air. Thanks for making my stay enjoyable.

Tout d'abord une excellente situation, en plein coeur de Paris, un accès facile aux principaux quartiers, que ce soit le Marais, ou d'autres via le métro à proximité. Ensuite, un appartement spacieux, propre, confortable, tranquille, offrant une magnifique vue sur la ville. Enfin, un hôte sympa, souriant, qui sait recevoir, et qui est de bons conseils pour mieux guider ses "guests"  en fonction de leurs attentes. Merci Cédric pour cet accueil chaleureux !

Pourtant, il y a déjà un moment que j'étais à Paris. J'avais certains jours merveilleux avant que le vol soit un peu pénible et ta femme de menage devait m'attendre. Pour moi le séjour était très confortable dans ton logement. Un appartement en ville typique comme on s'imagine le style d'Haussmann. J'aime les beaux vieux sols de parquet, dispositions des pièces traditionnelles etc. On quitte la maison et est au milieu du centre, si on peut dire comme ça. Qu'est-ce qui peut se passer meilleur ? La vue nocturne sur la rue Rivoli avec sa circulation et la Conciergerie qui se trouve en face comme une coulisse théâtrale. C'est fameux pouvoir voir de l'espace protégé dans le désordres apparemment non rangés. Quand-meme, on peut dormir dans la tranquillité. Si on n'aimait pas la rue Rivoli pour shopping, on prend le métro quelques arrets aux Gds boulevards. Vite on a déchargé les sacs d'achats de nouveau "à la maison". Des restaurants on trouve dans le Beaubourg assez aussi, on n'a pas besoin de mourir de faim. Et on trouve chaque fois des hommes jolis dans les cafés. C'était beau avoir le confort de l'appartement en ville central pendant quelques jours pour moi. Je reviendrais.

I had the pleasure of spending one night in Paris at B&B Tours Saint Jacques in June 2009 while in transit between Nice and London.  Although it was my first stay here it was as if I was visiting a long lost friend.  Cedric, the host, truly does make you feel completely at home in his beautiful and ideally-located apartment.  And the fact that the fresh baguette and croissant served to me in the morning with piping hot coffee was from the boulangerie that was voted 6th best in Paris (out of about a million!) sums up the experience quite nicely.  The room is clean, comfortable and wonderfully quiet despite the fact that the apartment is located right in the middle of everything!  I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back one day for a longer visit to explore this beautiful city some more.  Merci Cedric.

you have been a good host and we appreciated the extra effort you went to ensure we had a pleasant stay
like telling us where to go, and how to get around easily in your neighbourhood, etc...
though we have to lug our bags up four floors to the apartment (!), we found the experience of being in a typical French-Parisian apartment @ St. Jacques authentic and that more than made up for the stair-climbing... (haha)

I can highly recommend the B&B Tours St. Jacques in the very center of Paris. The B&B is located just a few steps from the Marais  and Les Halles area. Metro- and busstops, lots of restaurants, shops and bars are just around the corner. If you are into gay spots, well, then you are where you have to be the Marais offering almost anything you like and dream of. Other gay areas of Paris are easily reachable by metro. The Seine river and some important historical sights are also just around the corner.

The B&B itself is located in the 3rd floor of a nice typical Parisian building. The guestroom is located towards a quiet kind of backyard road. The room itself is large enough, very nice kingsize bed, wooden floor and two big windows - therefore this is a bright room. You can share with Cedric, the owner, the bathroom, kitchen and living room. The whole appartment is tastefully decorated. A maid is regularly there to keep the appartment ok.

I stayed in this B&B for 2 weeks in April 2009 and felt very comfortable and at ease. Cedric manages to make you feel at home and at the same time is never intrusive.

Knowing Paris personally quite good from even longer stays and knowing what is expecting you sometimes in some hotels, B&Bs or areas of the city there I was very happy to find Tour St. Jacques and will certainly be back there. The information and pictures on the website are reflecting reality.

Cedric was the perfect host, right from when I met him I felt right at home. With his excellent English he gives great advice about where to go and what to see in Paris. The apartment was neat and tidy and kept in an orderly manner all the time. The room I stayed in was spotless, bright warm and really comfortable with Cedric relaxed when sharing other common rooms in his apartment. It was great to be able to come and go as I pleased. The daily breakfast was fresh and healthy. I will be staying with Cedric whenever I visit Paris in the future.

Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à loger chez toi durant ce week-end parisien.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié évidemment sa situation centrale. C'est vraiment le lieu idéal pour visiter à pied la plupart des hauts-lieux parisiens. C'est un plaisir également d'avoir une chambre avec de l'espace. L'impression d'étroitesse est souvent un des défauts des chambres d'hôtel à Paris.
Et surtout nous gardons un très bon souvenir du petit-déjeuner pris ensemble devant cette vue magnifique que l'on a depuis ton appartement: la tour St-Jacques, l'Ile de la Cité....
Convivialité, très beau décor: je vais garder précieusement ton adresse pour mes prochains séjours à Paris.

situation idéale pour visiter à pied Paris et le Marais, totale liberté dans l'appartement, accueil à l'image du décor et du mobilier : froid et "a little bit smug". A déconseiller aux gens de la lointaine province ou alors tous les quatre ans (Rq : Jean Luc "va à la capitale" tous les deux mois pour son job !) Bises évidemment.
